Housing Agreements

  • With housing agreements like supervised community and community housing, the language should not include Bridges and program-specific information. Bridges does not partner with any housing providers within the community nor enter into a contractual agreement on behalf of the participant.  The agreements should clearly detail the services and amenities available to the participant. Furthermore, the agreements should inform the participant of the expectations or terms of the agreement, which should not align with Bridges program eligibility requirements.

  • It is important to review the contents of the housing agreement with the participant and ensure they understand what they are signing and committing to. There are circumstances where the agreement may be signed without the Bridges Liaison's knowledge, but it is essential to review the information to check for questionable language, costs, or terms.
